"Seven Seas" Satchel

"Seven Seas" Satchel

Sale Price:A$320.00 Original Price:A$380.00

This one-of-a-kind satchel is made with a beautifully worn (but not worn out!) piece of tan bark sailcloth that is part of Tasmanian maritime history.

The sail came from the Utiekah III - a magnificient Huon Pine ketch built in Cygnet, Tasmania in 1923.

Whilst the sail cloth is not quite that old it has certainly seen its’ share of adventure and has sailed from Tasmania to Tahiti via Queensland and back again.

The satchel is a generous 46cm wide x 32cm deep. The adjustable shoulder strap is made from seatbelt grade webbing combined with vintage leather strapping and hardware.

There is a pocket on the outside of the bag (protected by the flap) and another on the inside. It features unique original hardware and we guarantee you will never see another bag quite like it!
